I had the chance to visit one of the best pilgrimage in the Philippines. Dwelling in a city with tall building and traffic everywhere, I felt that my eyes deserved to see a beautiful landscape. I booked a flight to Iloilo and this was the only spot that I wanted to visit.

Garin Farm Pilgrimage has so many things to offer - a farm yard will welcome you and as you go further, you'll feel like you're being sensually stimulated. I loved everything in there - the resort includes agriculture, leisure and pilgrimage all in one site, literally you can do so many things while in the resort.

WHERE IS GARIN FARM AND HOW TO GET THERE:

Garin Farm is an inland resort located in Purok 2, San Joaquin, Iloilo. It is a 2-hour ride from the city proper, and is accessible by jeep from the Iloilo Super Terminal. The people there are nice, so don't hesitate to ask questions on which jeep to ride. You can also tell the driver that you are going to Garin Farm and they will just drop you off to the nearest tricycle toda where you can ride the tricycle going to the farm.

PHP 60.00 - Jeepney Fare from Iloilo City proper to San Joaquin
PHP 10.00 - Tricycle fare to Garin Farm
PHP 150.00 - Garin Farm Entrance Fee

TIPS:

As to whatever weather it is during your visit always bring an umbrella, a hat and sun screen.
Always carry a bottle of water with you, especially during your climb to the Divine Mercy Cross. You can also buy water at the canteen.
There are different charges for every leisure activity that you want to try.
Lastly, don't forget to enjoy the beautiful place you are in.
